Nairobi isn't really a late-night city in that way New York and Berlin
are. But that said, it has some killer clubs where you can clink
glasses with celebrities and the people who love them, see an
up-and-coming band, and dance to thumping DJ'ed tunes until the dawn.
The
neighborhood is home to internationally renowned dance clubs like Havanna
and The B-Club, but that's not all you'll find here. We've compiled some of the best night out spots that range from mega-clubs to intimate venues,
with parties that range from hip hop to genge-tone to house and drum.
Here are some of the best nightclubs in Nairobi.
The Brew Bistro
This club is located on Piedmont Plaza along Ngong Road, just a short distance from Impala Club and the Junction Mall. Designed more for both dancing and sitting (hence the name), it’s packed tight and kept very dark, except for those moments when the gorgeous light fixture flashes and illuminates everything around you.Depending on the theme for the night, there are always DJs and sometimes bands performances all through the week.
Blend Nairobi
If you're heavy into dance music, you'll likely find a can't-miss event on Blend's calendar no matter when you're staying in Nairobi. This mighty venue consistently books top talent across genres .
Blend is a fairly intimate space, particularly considering the caliber of the DJs it books, so you might want to get there on the early side if you're hankering for a prime spot on the dance floor.
Blend has earned a reputation for top-tier guest acts and underground sensibilities.
1824 is a popular joint on Lang’ata road, next to the former popular ‘Rafikis’ club opposite Carnivore Junction, in Lang’ata. They have a wide variety of whisky, great food, cigars, and lots of local and international beers, some of the best alcoholic selections in the city. It also has a unique outdoor location, and a resort-like inside.
There are different theme nights every other week, with great DJs who play anything from Reggae music, African music, Hip hop, Soul, Kwaito, and the likes. This legendary music venue has seen great music artists hop on and off its stage for years. Going there today you just might be seeing the next music legends play a few feet in front of you.
Be sure to also enjoy some pork ribs from their restaurant, as it is arguably the best in town.😄
K1 Klub House
Located in the Westlands suburbs of Nairobi along Ojijo road, the club has been designed to give you a complete stadium simulation, with everything from the sitting arrangements to the HD screens. The club has at least 4 bars, a pool table section, a quick snack counter, a coffee shop, smaller sections for watching the big screens…. it’s huge. It is also popular for its reggae nights that are usually held on Thursdays. If you and your friends are up for some ‘Nyama Choma‘, they also offer it at Club Jiko.
K1 Klub House is an iconic club in Nairobi, and the back patio is absolutely adorable. It's fairy lights and old time feel really make you forget you're in Nairobi in the 21st century. While it can get a little crowded some nights (make sure you split your time between inside and outside if that's the case), it's a great place to dance and be carefree.

foot venue that has distinct spaces for guests including the main club,
