Tekashi 6ix9ine just broke the record for Instagram Live viewers as he broadcast an epic rant on Friday following his release from jail last month.
The rapper, born Daniel Hernandez garnered two million viewers, breaking the record of 300,000 live viewers, previously held by rapper Drake and singer Torey Lanez.
Hernandez was granted an early release from federal prison last month over fears the rapper’s health would be severely affected if he were to contract corona virus.
He is now serving the remaining four months of his prison sentence at home in incarceration.
The rapper has a complex criminal history, and is associated with the Nine Trey Gansta Blood gang of New York - labelled a "violent city gang" by the US Attorney Office.
He was originally arrested on racketeering charges and could have faced up to 47 years in prison before striking a plea deal with prosecutors to testify against fellow gang members Anthony 'Harv' Ellison and Aljermiah 'Nuke' Mack.
Following the deal, he was sentenced to just two years in jail, 13 months of which he had already served.
Two million people tuned into to listen to the 24-year-old rapper as he defended his decision to cooperate with federal authorities in the racketeering case against him and the Nine Trey Bloods gang.
In his livestream Tekashi danced to Bad Boys while toying with a pair of handcuffs, seemingly poking fun at his incarceration.
He also admitted to being a snitch, questioned who he should be loyal to, and bragged about his money and music, claiming 'I’m the biggest artist in the world'.
The rainbow-haired artist also dropped his first track since being imprisoned along with an appropriately colorful music video for song GOOBA.
It features plenty of women twerking and Tekashi showing off a massive shark pendant around his neck. His ankle monitor is also seen on his right leg.
His Instagram rant and music drop came after rapper Meek Mill hit out at the New York rapper, writing on Twitter: 'I hope that rat going live to apologize to the people he told on or the victim..... Y’all forgot that fast a “rat” killed nipsey he wasn’t suppose to be on the streets!
'That’s the only thing ima day because he’s dead... left his baby mom and child like a coward as targets!'
Meek was referring to Eric Holder, the man accused of murdering his friend Nipsey Hussle last year, who was allegedly also a 'rat'.
Tekashi responded tweeting: 'Imagine having a newborn baby come into the world & be pressed about a Mexican with rainbow hair.'
Tekashi 69 got released from prison early last month and is on supervised release.
For the first four months, he'll have a GPS monitor and he will only be allowed to leave the home to seek medical treatment or visit his attorney.
