CONTROVERSIAL blogger, Edgar Obare has expressed fears for his life after arrest by Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
The popular blogger who has been doing quite well with his exposes on Instagram and YouTube Edgar was on Friday, 31 July taken to the Gigiri police station for interrogation.
However, according to his Twitter updates, Obare disclosed that he is not safe where he is being held:

Obare was arrested on Thursday after he was summoned by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
Obare disclosed that Natalie Tewa accompanied Joho to Dubai in the famous lavish private jet and confirmed that he has even gifted her an Audi.
According to Obare, DCI officers stormed his home in Kisumu on Thursday morning and arrested him. He was then ferried to Nairobi.

This is not the first time Obare has feared for his life.
A while back, YouTuber Edgar Obare had alleged that Media Personality Jalang’o had been threatening his life and he was tired of keeping quiet. Obare revealed that a reliable source had warned him against meeting Jalang'o; who had been allegedly working with Babu Owino, Obia and a few officials from the DCI to put him behind bars.

Other vloggers and bloggers took it to social media to show their support for Edgar Obare.

Prolific blogger Cyprian Nyakundi also condemned the arrest of gossip blogger Edgar Obare terming is as wrong.
“We cannot solve civil matters with guns and DCI summons and Joho is wrong to push DCI to “Punish” a blogger. The arrest of Edgar Obare is wrong. The DCI is misusing the Cyber Crime act to bully bloggers as criminals walk free. When I called on Bloggers to challenge the law, they refused and said the law is for Nyakundi and Alai.
Now they are coming for entertainment bloggers and soon it will be fashion bloggers etc.

Edgar Obare has done countless exposes only to be summoned over one involving a politician? By suing for "invasion of privacy" over her exposed passport only confirms that the socialite might be guilty & indeed it was hers and the rumors are true.
