Kenya records 688 new Covid-19 cases after testing 4522 samples in 24 hours.
The total number of people affected in the country now stands at 12,750. Out of the 688 cases reported, 425 are male while 263 are female.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe reported that 457 patients have recovered, bringing the total to 4,440.
An additional 3 patients have succumbed to the disease bringing the death toll now at 225.

Today, 688 people have tested positive from a sample size of 4,522. Cumulative positives are now 12,750.

On Friday after the government announced the arrival of 20 specialized Cuban doctors to support ongoing efforts to combat the pandemic. The Cuban doctors will be stationed at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital

This are specialized doctors in internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, renal & pediatrics. With the Covid-19 cases rising, these specialist doctors will go a long way in supporting our doctors in managing the disease.
