Popular Citizen TV journalist, who has been at the front line on covering corona virus related news on Thursday July 16 revealed that he tested positive for covid-19. The journalist got the results after testing in hospital in Nairobi
"Results came back positive though i feel okay. I have even done my usual training in my room where i am currently self-isolating," the journalist said while choosing to maintain anonymity. The journalist's results came in days after an employee at Medimax Network Liumited tested pisitive for the virus.
Letoo also had message to his fellow journalists and Kenyans:
"I just ask Kenyans to be more careful. It is sad when you can't trace where you got it from. I am doing well and I am under medication at home. We are at the front line to get the story out there. We are too much exposed," he said.
More than 12,000 people in Kenya have been infected with the coronavirus and at least 222 have died, according to the ministry of health.
