Churchill show comedian George Maina popularly known as Njoro has opened up about his battle with depression.

The father of four, says he “lost everything”, including his finances, towards end of 2019.
The comedian also revealed that Zeddy was the first colleague in the comedy world who has visited him several months after he moved back to his parents home in Nakuru.
“I have tried to take my own life three times but by some miracle I failed in all my attempts. It must be God’s plan but truth be told, I am not well at all,” he said.
Njoro said that he had lost everything and all his friends abandoned him, especially after his father was also diagnosed with stomach cancer.
He painfully narrated how a truck driver saved his life after realising he was about to commit suicide by driving off a cliff at the Rift Valley viewpoint area in Limuru.

“I wanted to plunge my vehicle at the Rift Valley View Point in Limuru. While making my last prayers, it appears God spoke to a truck driver, who came and tied a towing rope on the rear part of my car. After completing my prayer, I pressed the accelerator paddle, but the vehicle couldn’t move. When I stepped out of my car, the truck driver told me I wasn’t going to kill myself as he watched,” said Njoro.
The comedian, through the widely shared video, said financial help and a job will assist him get back on his feet and stop relying on his parents.
