Cheating hurts and it’s what breaks up most relationships. It makes a partner lose
their trust in you and slowly kills a relationship that took years to build. Most cheaters in relationships use tricks and tactics that will make it close to impossible for their partners to find out what they are doing right under their nose.
Just recently, actress Awinja opened up on how she caught her man cheating.
Speaking to Dr. King’ori during an interview on his show, the Wicked Edition, the
actress revealed how the man was cheating right under her nose. She disclosed how painful the experience was and how she has been through some nasty cheating breakups revealing she has never been dumped by any of her boyfriends.
Awinja narrated how the man had kept the affair a secret for quite a long time and
was very clever in his tricks. Apparently, the man had saved his side chick’s number as ‘mum’. Awinja says she had no problems even with the so-called ‘mum’ calling at weird hours of the night revealing that she thought the mother was just so caring about his son.
“Anapiga ata usiku hata nasema huyu mama anapenda mtoto wake, saa tano ya
usiku anataka kumjulia hali.”
“So there was this one time, we went for a video shoot together with his friends. While in the car, his phone rang, and when I looked, it read ‘mum’. He picked up the phone call and started chatting with his ‘mum’ saying how he had missed her and her chapatis. I even pitied him because I thought they must be missing each other because of the distance and I didn’t know how to cook good chapatis then.”
One of her ex-lover’s friends made a naughty remark after the call which made Awinja even more doubtful.
So, she waited until the next time her boyfriend had gone to theshower, and she took his phone and went through his messages only to find sexual messages between the ‘son’ and ‘mum’. She narrates how dumbfounded she was but did not confront her boyfriend immediately.
She copied the girl’s number and took herself to work the following morning, but before arriving at her workplace, she decided to call the girl. The side chick was innocent and disclosed she didn’t know that the man was in a relationship already. Awinja then went silent for a week before ending the relationship in peace.
