The internet and social media in general has today become a major platform where people can showcase or promote their talents or skills whether young or old, and even earn a living from it. With today’s technology, anyone can learn and sharpen their skills through the internet.
One of the biggest internet sensations today Azziad Nasenya has become a force to reckon within the entertainment industry having gained popularity and coming into the limelight through her dance videos which have brought her double blessings; getting endorsements from various companies and even being among the most sought after young influencers in Kenya today.
Just recently, during an Insta live interview with media personality Jamal Gaddafi,
singer Vivianne gave out her unfiltered mean remarks on Tiktok sensation Azziad
stating the young influencer was too proud after she asked for payment before she
could promote Vivian’s new track with Stivo Simple Boy Simpo Simpo which she
claims is currently doing very well in YouTube. In short, the singer wanted Azziad to promote her song for free since she had little experience in the entertainment industry having come into the industry just the other day. The songbird sounded so bitter and unimpressed about it.
Kenyans on Twitter were angered with her mean remarks about Azziad and could not keep quiet about it. They went ahead to attack her in defense of the Tiktok queen who has already set her standards in the industry as well as her rate card. The singer was at the receiving end of it for looking down on Azziad. Vivian ought to have respected Azziad’s hustle, having created a brand for herself she deserved to be paid before she could promote the song.
