Jowie Irungu is now a changed man. He understands life from a different perspective. He made a personal decision to change his lifestyle and get saved after being imprisoned, and went through the hardships that affected him mentally. The fine young man started making headlines after getting engaged to Jacque Maribe, a former news anchor.
His fame was however short-lived after he was linked with the murder of a business woman Monica Kimani, who was alleged to be his lover. This saw him charged with the murder, and he landed in prison at Kamiti where he was remanded for 500 days after the evidence collected was directly pointed at him.
His family however never got weary of supporting him with their many prayers, and he was finally released on Ksh. 2 million bail.
Speaking to Jalang’o on his online TV show, Jalang’o TV, Jowie opened up about his experience in Kamiti Prison and all the hardships he went through while there. He says that this was a wake up call for him to re-evaluate himself and see where his life was headed to, and to discover his true purpose in life.
He still remains thankful for the far he has come. He further went on to introduce his daughter whom he featured in his latest song, Nishikilie. Many people however, did not know about his daughter who’s really beautiful.
The little princess seemed to be around 6 to 7 years of age. Although Jowie is yet to reveal his past and how he got engaged to Jacque Maribe while still in a relationship with his baby mama Eleanor Musangi
