Chiki’s Adorable Photo With Her Father-in-law Sparks Mixed Reactions Online

It is very important to have a good relationship with your in-laws more so if you are married. The bonding will help you get along and be loved by almost all your in-laws. However, in the African culture, certain things are not allowed and if they happen, then cleansing must be done by the elders to set things right.

Such a thing happened recently which sparked controversies online with many claiming it’s a taboo. Chiki after visiting her father-in-law who’s Bien’s dad seemed so excited and went on to share on her Instagram page a beautiful photo of her and her Father-in-law together with Bien crossing shoulders as they posed for the photo.

Well, the Nigerian-Swiss hottie and her father-in-law seem to have a very special relationship and a great father-daughter bond which is very impressive. She even captioned the picture; “Sometimes you marry into a family that makes your smile grow wider.” Seems the beauty was lucky to have gotten married in Bien’s family since she was well accepted and Bien’s father’s love for her is so pure and evident.

Bien who also went in company of her gorgeous wife to visit their father over the weekend seemed to have enjoyed his time at the place as well. He went on to write in a post; “Sunday with my loves. My dad is a comedian. Haven’t laughed like that in a while. Family over everything. Lovely week guys.” It’s true the two lovebirds differ in culture, but fans in the comment section went on to give their opinions on how close a daughter should be with her father-in-law based on their African cultures and traditions and even made it a discussion.

One fan went on to state that in the Luhya tradition, since Bien is a Luhya, a daughter and father-in-law are not allowed to get so close or even touch each other in any way and if that happens, then council of elders have to summoned and a sheep slaughtered for cleansing. To which Bien responded by saying that hunger was what was disturbing them.
