Tanzanian songstress Vanessa Mdee is also known as Vee Money is officially off the singles bench after she said ‘Yes’ to her boyfriend Olurotimi Akiniosho alias Rotimi’s marriage proposal.
In a video, the now Mrs.Rotimi to be is seen in tears after being overwhelmed by emotions the moment Rotimi went on his knee asking her to marry him.
Full of joy, Venessa responded with a big ‘yes’, as she accepted the engagement ring before the two kissed.
It is said that Vanessa and Rotimi started dating in October last year.
Sometime back, through an Instastory, these two were seen having the time of their lives in Miami. In the video, they were spotted having a meal together by the pool.
Singer cum actor Rotimi is popularly known as Andre Coleman in the series ‘Power’ is of Nigerian origin but currently lives in America.
When the two started dating, Vanessa moved to Atlanta to stay with Rotimi. Months later she announced that she had decided to shelve her music career for good over what she termed as “the music industry being demonic”.

In November last year, Vanessa revealed that dating Rotimi has changed her life and that she is happy with her newfound love as well as the direction that her life has taken.
It’s over a year since The ‘Kisela’ crooner parted ways with her ex-boyfriend and singer Juma Jux.
After Vanessa and Jux’s break up, he moved on with Nayika, a professional model and a health practitioner whom he frequently flaunted on social media
In a past interview with a local blog, Jux clarified that he was not only happy that Vanessa had moved on but that she had gotten another chance to give love a shot.
“I am happy she found love in Rotimi. I was waiting for the day she will be happy. You know when it comes to love one person moves on after a breakup and one remains and so when I saw she has moved on, in all honesty, I was happy,” he said.
