Trey Songz Arrested after engaging in a fight with a police officer.

American singer Trey Songz has been arrested reportedly on suspicion of trespassing, resisting arrest, and assaulting police.

In the footage shared by American news website TMZ, the 36-year-old singer is seen struggling with a cop.

The incident took place during the American football game between Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 24 held at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

In the video the  ‘Can’t help but wait’ hitmaker is seated as a police officer stands in the row in front of him leans forward to grab at him before he does the rapper apparently gets the officer in a headlock and can be seen to throw a punch in the direction of the officer’s head.

As Songz tries to free himself the cop pins him down and other officers and security guards come to reinforce.

Fans can be heard shouting at the cop to stop as they recoded the scuffle from few rows behind while Trey is heard saying “get off me”.

One fan is heard also shout “Get off of him”, another yells “What the f***, he didn’t do it” and a third  one calls out “Arrest the cop.”

According to sources, the incident that allegedly led to the altercation started when Trey Songs was hassled by fans as he watched the game.

The footage however does not show how it all started the officer is said to have approached when Trey asked them to “chill out”.

In December Trey Songz was under investigation when about 500 fans flooded  a night club in Ohio to see him perform

The club management was summoned for improper conduct and disorderly activities after it was noted that their guests broke the Covid-19 public health protocols.
