According to the Radio Citizen presenter, his girlfriend when they were still in college left him and got involved with a rich older man.
In an interview with Engage Talk, the Mseto East Africa presenter disclosed that he deeply fell for his first love when they were in class seven.
“I have experience and go through a lot for love. I fell in love when I was in Class Seven. There was a poetry competition in Lamu. And I was a contestant and emerged as one of the finalists. The second runners up caught my eye. She was pretty,” he recalled.
“We went for Provincials competition in Mombasa and I made attempts to get her to love me but she rejected me the entire trip. After that every day after school, I stalked her on her way home but never got her attention,” he added.
After they both completed primary school, Tuva sent the lass a love letter but only get heartbroken after the girl shred the letter even before opening it and after several attempts, he eventually won her heart and their intimate relationship moved very fast.

After some years, his mother found out about their affair and was afraid his son would impregnate the young lady.
The two were separated and luckily reunited in college where they continued their romance but it was short-lived.
Despite being faithful to his then girlfriend, she betrayed his trust and got married to a rich old man.
“I was faithful to her but there was an older man who was working and wanted her. At the time, I could not support her because I was a student. One day, I went home during the school holidays and I found out that she had gotten married,” he said.
