3 of Burna Boy’s studio albums hit the 100 million streams mark

Burna Boy makes history with his last 3 studio projects, a feat that most of his African and international peers haven’t achieved yet despite being in the music industry far too longer than him.

The Grammy Award-winning Afrobeats singer who now comfortably answers to his self-proclaimed moniker “African Giant” made the list of former US President Barack Obama’s favorite musicians a few months ago making him one of the best African musicians exports today.

Burna Boy’s three previous projects made such a huge unprecedented milestone that proves indeed Africa is full of musical giants, in this scenario; as dominated by Burna Boy.

Burna Boy’s ‘Outside’ studio album was officially dropped in January 2018, the Grammy-nominated ‘African Giant’ album was released in July 2019 while the Grammy-winning ‘Twice As Tall’ studio album was released officially in August 2020.

.@burnaboy is the first African artist to have three albums with at least 100 million streams each on Spotify (African Giant, Outside & Twice As Tall).

The streaming numbers on other DSP(Digital Streaming Platform) are not in consideration.

Burna Boy is expected to share the same stage at the 10th anniversary Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, USA with Billie Eilish, Post Malone, A$ap Rocky, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Cordae, EarthGang, and so many other mentionable celebrated international artistes.

Burna Boy has maintained his humility by achieving such a feat in his successful, illustrious career as he preps up to perform at The 02 Arena in London to play his headline show on 27th August 2021.
