Otile Brown’s ‘Dusuma’ becomes the first Kenyan song to surpass 26 million YouTube views

Celebrated Kenyan artist Jacob Obunga popularly known as Otile Brown has extended his YouTube command that has seen him become the most-watched musician in the country.

According to a spot check on YouTube, the musician’s song ‘Dusuma’ featuring Burundian Meddy, has for the first time hit 26 million views becoming the first-ever Kenyan song to hit those heights.

Dusuma was released in June 2020 and scaled the YouTube heights by a social media challenge that trended around it. It currently has 26,274,471 views.

Pop singing group Sauti Sol come close to Otile with their Suzanna hit commanding over 18 million views on the streaming channel.
