Boondocks Gang ropes in Rekles, Guzman, VJ Chris on their new song

Whoever said the Gengetone genre was dead, was lying because Boondocks Gang is back with a bang like they never left with a new record bringing out Guzman from Mbogi Genje and Rekles from Ethic Entertainment.

The new record comes after their channel was given back to them after it was hacked by someone abroad.

Boondocks Gang that comprise Edu Maddox, Odi wa Murang’a and ExRay has made the Genge and Gengetone fans happy with their latest record dubbed ‘Sijazoea Ivo’ featuring VJ Chris, Rekles, and Guzman.

The song is the lead single is off their premiered ‘Genge La Bundoksi’ Ep comprising of seven tracks sampling different genres and blending it with the group’s funky urban Gengetone, Rap & Dancehall wave.

Like most of their songs, one needs to have a deep understanding and grasp of the sheng language of communication in order to decode the message. Their songs are very popular among the youth who relate and understand the language.

Boondocks Gang is one of the biggest musical groups in Kenya at the moment. The group is known for their awesome vocals and has gone on over their debut to get themselves major recognition.

They have performed on stage with top artistes in the industry and have won awards across Africa.

The artistes who are known for their unique style from their released songs with both local and international artiste also creating a flow for themselves that all their music lovers have grown to love and accept. They are a top-notch Kenyan music band.

Having had wonderful times since 2019 with Youtube trend takeovers, top show performances and fan base expansion. They have started 2021 on a good note with awesome song releases.
