Guardian Angel discusses his relationship with wife Esther Musila's children and addresses critics

Gospel singer Peter Omwaka, also known as Guardian Angel, has opened up about his relationship with his wife Esther Musila’s children. In a recent interview, the award-winning artist revealed that the respect he receives from his stepchildren stems directly from his hard work and role as the committed head of the household.

Guardian Angel, who has been married to Esther Musila for several years, revealed that he has a positive and respectful relationship with her children. He attributes this dynamic to his decision to take full responsibility within the family, a move that he says has earned him their trust and respect. The artist, who has often been criticized online for his marriage to an older woman, added that he feels he cannot afford to be lazy, especially given the success of his stepchildren.

I cannot afford to be lazy because I have a family of adults who are old enough to understand someone’s intentions,” he explained. They have made more money than me, and have more assets than me, so I cannot expect them to look after me while I am with their mother.

The gospel singer also used the opportunity to address critics who have accused him of being financially dependent on his wife. He said that if he were not financially stable, his relationship with his stepchildren would be compromised, as they would have every right to question his place in the family.

Guardian Angel and Esther Musila have also previously addressed the topic of having their own children. In a 2022 interview, Guardian Angel stated that while a child would be a welcome “bonus,” their love for each other is what truly matters. He emphasized that a lack of a child would not diminish their bond, as their happiness comes from their relationship with each other.
