Cebbie Koks Nyasego, younger sister to popular musician Akothee, has had it very rough ever since her engagement to a city doctor which was clouded by many controversies from left to right. Almost a month ago on July 18th, streets were painted red with love when the city doctor went down on his knee to propose, and ask for Cebbie’s hand in marriage, a question that received an automatic ‘Yes!’ from the woman of his life, but soon after blew up on the internet.
This was so unfortunate to the pair as it was unexpected, and was about to cost their relationship. Ever since their engagement hit the webs, they have had sleepless nights with their phones crashing with unending calls and DMs full to the brim. They have received backlash from all sides, they have been stalked, and have become victims of cyber bullying.
Just recently during an interview with Jalang’o on his show Bonga na Jalas, the famous intellectual Cebbie admitted; “I still have DMs that I haven’t answered. That is why I deactivated my account.” Her man, the city doctor, seems like he faulted in romantically expressing himself to Cebbie, and devoting his future to her, because he could no longer enjoy his private life, and just immediately because a sought after individual. It all looked like it was a terrible idea for the guy to make that grand engagement.
Cebbie responded to this stating that she was involving someone she really cared for, and he was coming to the public domain, something he wasn’t used to because he was robbed off his privacy. She was cyber bullied with some claiming that she had been having numerous affairs with other men while dating her fiancé, something that was almost breaking the two love birds apart.
She further narrates that it got to a point where the lies became overwhelming for her lover who finally declared that he no longer needed to hear the truth from her. He had had enough of it all. Cebbie’s public life, and unending controversies had sacrificed the sanity and privacy
of her city doctor lover.
She further narrates that fortunately, the man understood her, “we are now compact, nothing was shaken, nothing was taken away from is apart from his privacy.”
