Heartbreaks are a common experience that most people go through before finding
their perfect match. Some heartbreaks are so bad and may lead into depression if a victim invested all their time, energy, and efforts into the relationship only to be
cheated on. But victims can often do something therapeutic like finding solace in music, reading books, doing their favorite hobbies just to distract themselves and
engage their minds with something else.
Just recently, in an exclusive interview with Standard Digital Entertainment, Kenya’s popular Coastal dance hall artist Arrow Bwoy opened up about the most painful and hurtful heartbreak he experienced. The Jango Love hit maker went on to narrate his story of how he was romantically involved in some sort of a long-distance relationship with his longtime girlfriend who betrayed his love and trust after he found her in the arms of another man. This happened when he had decided to pay her a surprise visit at her house.
A sad Arrow Bwoy went on to narrate how Corona has caused more harm than good more so in relationships judging from the large number of families and casual relationships that have been broken. He revealed that he was also a victim after ending his relationship with fellow popular singer Nadia Mukami and hopping into another relationship almost immediately. He recalled the day he had decided to pay his girlfriend a surprise visit after a long time not knowing what was awaiting him there. Instead, the surprise was on him.
Since he was headed to the place at night, the singer decided to shop for ready made food at one of the eateries in town in order to spare his girlfriend the hustle of cooking food that night, and off he left for her girlfriend’s place. The singer was in for a rude shock. He couldn’t believe what he had just seen. Well, his girlfriend was down in the arms of another man.
He revealed that it was quite an embarrassing moment for him, after psyching himself up to go see a lover only to find her cheating. So what did he do? He acted like the gentleman he was and decided to walk away and head back home without causing any drama or interfering with their love making moment though he felt deeply hurt and betrayed.
Arrow Bwoy’s hurtful heartbreak experience was the inspiration behind his latest
jam Mapenzi balaa. He explains how he poured all his pain and disappointment into the song through its lyrics, a way that he had decided to express himself and easen his pain.
